Whitby Driving School
Is Sunny Safeway MTO-approved in Whitby?
Yes. We are a fully certified MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) provider. Students in Whitby who complete our program qualify for the G2 road test in just 8 months instead of 12.
Do your instructors come to my home in Whitby?
Absolutely. We serve all Whitby neighbourhoods including Brooklin, Williamsburg, Pringle Creek, Rolling Acres, Taunton North, Port Whitby, and more. Just let us know your address when booking.
Where do Whitby students take their road test?
Most of our Whitby students test at the Oshawa DriveTest Centre on Champlain Avenue, the closest centre to Whitby. Our instructors train you on the exact routes and conditions you’ll encounter there.
Can I use your car for my road test?
Yes — our Gold Package includes use of the instructor’s vehicle for your G2 road test at the Oshawa DriveTest Centre. This is especially helpful if you don’t have access to a car on test day.
What's the difference between the Silver and Gold Package?
Both include the full BDE online course and 10 hours of in-car lessons. The Gold Package adds the use of our instructor’s car for your road test — a major advantage for students without a vehicle.
Do you offer private lessons without a full package?
Yes. Private lessons in Whitby are available at $50/hour with no commitment. Ideal for G2 drivers preparing for the G test, or anyone who wants a skill refresh.
How much deposit do I need to start?
You can get started with as little as a $149 deposit for the Silver Package. The remaining balance is paid in easy installments — we keep it flexible for you.
Are weekend and evening driving lessons available in Oshawa?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, so students can book lessons around work, school, or other commitments.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We understand that driving school is an investment, so we offer flexible payment options. Contact us to discuss what works best for you.
How long does it take to complete the BDE course?
The online portion of the BDE course (20 hours) can be completed at your own pace. In-car lessons (10 hours) are scheduled flexibly, allowing most students to complete the program according to their availability and learning speed.
