Is Sunny Safeway Driving School MTO approved?
Yes! We are a fully MTO-approved (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) Beginner Driver Education (BDE) provider. This means completing our program makes you eligible for your G2 road test in just 8 months instead of 12.
Which areas in Durham Region do you serve?
We offer driving lessons in Ajax, Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering, and Bowmanville. Our instructors come to you — no need to travel to a physical school location.
What is the difference between the Silver and Gold Package?
Both packages include the same BDE and in-car lessons. The Gold Package additionally allows you to use our instructor’s car for your G2 road test at Oshawa DriveTest Centre — ideal if you don’t have access to a vehicle.
Do you offer driving lessons without the full BDE course?
Yes! Our Private Driving Lessons are available at $50/hr with no commitment. They are perfect for G2 drivers preparing for their G road test, or anyone who wants a refresher in the Durham Region.
Can I use your car for the G2 road test?
Yes — if you book the Gold Package, you can use the instructor’s vehicle for your road test at the Oshawa DriveTest Centre. This is a huge advantage if you don’t own a car.
Do you have a separate package for Bowmanville?
Yes. Because Bowmanville is further east in Durham Region, we have dedicated Silver ($649) and Gold ($759) packages for that area, with the same great MTO-approved training.
How much deposit do I need to start?
You can get started with as little as a $149 deposit for the Silver Package. The remaining balance is paid in easy installments — we keep it flexible for you.
