The BDE course is Beginner Driver Education but is more commonly known as the Beginner Driving Certificate Program. The certificates are processed online once you have successfully completed a BDE course and there is no need to attend any driving school for BDE

If you take our Ministry-approved course, you will be eligible for your G2 road test 8 months after the issue date of your G1. Otherwise, you must wait a minimum of one year. In other words, earning your Beginner Driver Education certificate will save 4 months off of the waiting period! That's cool, isn't it?

Yes, you can use the instructor's car for an additional cost depending on which test centre you choose to go to. We strongly recommend opting to use your instructor’s vehicle for the road test as most students claim they will feel most comfortable driving the car that they have learned in. Additionally, the school roof sign on top of the car will alert other drivers on the road that the student is a beginner. We are known by examiners to bring our students for their tests only once they are ready to hit the road in real life. This helps the examiner to feel more comfortable in the car with a novice driver.

As required by the Ministry of Transportation, a minimum of ten (10) hours are to be completed in order to be eligible for certification. Many students do find that these 10 hours are enough, but of course, every student has a different learning style and learns at a different pace. Your in-car driving instructor will advise you if extra driving lessons/ practice is needed. If you feel that ten hours are not enough, we offer additional individual driving lessons as well as packages for extra practice.
